MY STORY

Hi, I’m Sarah Moy.

I was born and raised in New York City. For as long as I can remember, I have always loved helping and caring for people. I became a Registered Nurse in 2012 and have worked in various New York City hospitals since then. Over the years of working in Operating Rooms, Intensive Care Units and Emergency rooms, I came to realize that there is something seriously wrong with our healthcare system. Healthcare should be about health, not a system that profits from your disease and suffering.

No matter what I was doing in the healthcare system, I kept seeing the same thing; people suffering with debilitating chronic diseases that could have been prevented, and a system that was mostly depersonalized symptom management. I also detested the way hospitals treated patients and longed for a way to serve patients in a way that saw them as a whole person- body, mind and spirit. After the COVID surges in NY, I suffered from burnout, emotional moral distress and I fell into a very dark mental place.

In 2023, I contemplated if I even wanted to be a Nurse anymore. That's when I found Holistic Nursing and realized that there were others that felt exactly like I did. Nurse Coaching showed me a path where I could shift my focus to empower people to improve and prioritize their health- not just wait to get sick and then get treatment. In my practice, I help others prevent and reverse chronic disease through lifestyle changes. You have so much more agency and power over your health than the system wants you to believe.

Through holistic health coaching, I want to help support, coach and treat people as the complex, multi-faceted people that they are so that they can experience healing, love themselves and live their lives to the fullest.

My greatest desire is for people to be well
